Terms and Services
ORDER CONFIRMATION
Website orders are confirmed once full payment has been received.
Any order under $500 is required to be paid in full. Any order $500 and above we require a non-refundable 50% deposit at the time of booking, and full payment must be made 10 days prior to the agreed pick up or dispatch date. Failure to pay the remaining balance by the specified due date will result in your order being cancelled and your deposit will not be refunded.
ALTERATIONS
We are unable to accommodate alterations within 10 days of the agreed pick up or dispatch date. If you have an alteration before this date, please get in touch and we can try to accommodate your request.
CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
If you need to cancel your order, minimum 10 days notice is required to be eligible for a full refund (not including deposit if paid), subject to availability your event date can be changed to a later date or alternatively the payment can be held in credit to be used within 12 months of previous booking date.
We are unable to offer a refund, change of date or credit if cancellation is made within 10 days of the pick up, delivery or dispatch date.
All items are baked fresh and are custom made for each individual order. We do not refund deposits. Once delivered or collected, all food/perishable items cannot be returned or refunded. We strictly cannot offer a refund for any products that have been consumed. We want you to be happy with your order. If for some reason you are unhappy, please contact us immediately upon receiving your order so we can do our best to resolve the issue.
DAMAGED OR LOST ORDERS
We take full care when handling your products and do everything in our power to prevent the possibility of any damages. Once they have been picked up, delivered or dispatched, we do not take responsibility for damages including postage handling. On top of this, we do not take responsibility for postal delays or lost packages - postage is at your own risk. If you have selected postage, you will receive tracking information. We do not take responsibility for your items once they have left us for pickup/delivery. Please take care when picking up your order as we cannot fix or refund for any damages that may occur once your items have left us. Including but not limited to; broken cookies, heat related melting of buttercream cakes/cupcakes, damage during transport etc. We cannot be held liable for any damage incurred when being stored at other premises or when being handled by people or staff outside of Gourmet Bakes & Co.
SOCIAL MEDIA
We reserve the right to use photos of our creations across our social media accounts for marketing purposes. If you don't want us to share your products, this must be specified at the time of placing the order in the order notes section.

ALLERGENS
While we take all precautions to ensure cross-contamination
does not occur, our products are prepared in a kitchen that may contain or come in contact with milk, wheat, eggs, nuts, soy and other allergens.
